Creamed eggs on toast. Isn't that nuts? Haven't had that in decades. My grandmother and mother used to make it. Nothing fancy, a white sauce, and sliced hard boiled eggs on buttered toast. Maybe with a side of real (not canned) corned beef hash. I had my last chemo cycle a week ago. Maybe it's got something to do with that....

Yeah, full recovery from two cancers. Smacking myself on the forehead...... COMFORT FOOD! I should have recognized the craving for what it was, comfort food from generations past and simpler times.

It's a well known medical fact that dried beef, HB eggs, and a good white sauce served over biscuits will counter-act any chemo problems. (OK I made the medical part up, but it sure is tasty)
