NuWave doesn't make a built in version. We use two and just set them on the LP stove top. You must be careful about what circuits power the units, but that is normal with RVs. Two NuWaves and a Sharp convection/microwave provide all the cooking sources we need from steak to baked turkey.
Hopefully the induction thing will catch on with new RVs and provide all the advantages of the NuWaves, but for now, they stand alone at the top
One advantage about the portable units is that you can take them outside for lobsters and such.
Another advantage of the portable units is that we use them in both the MH and stick and brick.
About the issue of the campground electricity going out, just start the generator -- you paid for it didn't you?
