We have two of the NuWave2s (pro units) and they are fantastic. We never use the cooktop anymore. The NuWaves are portable and never heat up the room. You only have to clean the top with windex or a similar product, and put it away. You don't have to wait for it to cool down. We bought ours at Bed, Bath, and Beyond for $80 each with the 20% off coupons. We also bought a set up pots and pans there, again with a 20% off coupon and we use them only with the NuWaves.
The cast iron products are perfect too because like it was mentioned earlier, the power goes out, use the coleman or fire up the generator.
