Another option is a tripod. I have one made by Lodge and it works reasonably well. I wouldn't compare it to the above or recommend it in place of, but it does store easy and allow grilling over coals or fire.
Good idea. Thanks! I'm also going to check out a local blacksmith and see if she can make a custom rig. You read that right: SHE, all 4'9" of her. My wife wants to pick up blacksmithing as a hobby now that we've met this lady. We live in a terrific world for travel!
The one I have has a chain and hook hanging from the center. I bought a Weber grill and some chain from Home Depot and it hangs from the hook with 3 pieces of the chain.
