we camp without hookups most of the time and found a hand operated K cup coffee maker at kohl's works great for us doesn't mount anywhere but you don't need power to operate it .
Does the manually operated K cup machine run on electricity or need externally heated hot water to operate?
Sounds like it could be a nice change from my normal morning routine of heating water for packets of Via and tea. I'm horribly lazy in the morning as well as being a grouch.
yes you boil your water on the stove pour it in push the plunger down coffee made - DevocamperExplorer

Have any of you ever seen a under cabinet mount K-cup coffee maker, seems like the perfect thing for an RV?
for the k-cups - yes.
For the brewer, nope.
Seems like it might be a bit contrived given how the K-cup mechanism raises up.
If you see one, please post a picture for the curious.
While I use K-cups at work, I used a pour-over in the RV.

Looks like you can use a cup right about now.:)
Hehehe.......perhaps I should be clearer; how does the water get hot? Do you need to pour hot water from a kettle into it? If I still have to heat up the water I prolly should just stay with Starbuck's VIA; same amt of steps.
ETA: Just looked at the link. Maybe it'll work for the RV but not tent camping....sigh. Time to order more VIA and isn't it nice they are having a sale right now:B. - Johno02ExplorerRight!

Just remember that most f the K-cup machines hold at least a cupfull of water, and cannot be completely drained I would hesitate about running anti-freeze through one. Might make the coffee taste funny.
Depends what you use for antifreeze! - jwolf55Explorer
