Keto Carrots

I eat close to keto, but not full keto. Basically, I have to limit my carb intake to 50 grams or less net carbs daily.

But I do like carrots, so once in a while, I indulge. This time, plain carrots weren't what my tastebuds craved, so here's what I did.

1 package (1 lb) frozen crinkle cut carrot slices
3 T. butter
3 T. Torani brown sugar cinnamon flavored syrup (0 calories, 0 sugar, amazing flavor)
1/2 tsp. salt or to taste (if you use salted butter, you may not need it at all)

Microwave carrots according to package directions. Drain, return to hot dish, and add butter. Stir until melted. Add Torani syrup and salt and mix well. Serve hot.

There will be no leftovers. Makes about 5 servings.
