I know this does not qualify as light weight by any means, but I thought I would throw this out as an option... the Weber Q series. They are darn near indestructible and have excellent warranty. They are not light but the reason makes all the difference in the world, they have a cast iron grill and ceramic shell. For a portable IMHO you will not get a better cooking surface.
Also I did a post last week on how to modify it to connect to a propane connection on your rig (I know I am not the first to do this) but it may help understand how easy it is to mod them to connect directly to the Rig's gas supply.
Also, amazing customer service with the Weber.
X3 for Weber.
We used other people's Q last year in our inaugural first season of camping. We bought one over the winter with a propane tank adapter and love it.
