That's a fair price. Look to coffee forums for user tips. The most common one is to overfill the chamber with water. Then bring the handles up very slowly to allow the air bubbles to escape. Pre-infusion is very important to wet the puck. Light pressure for about 10 seconds, then go for it. Do a couple of boiling water flushes before the first shot of the day. This warms the group and portafilter. Nothing worse than a cold shot!
