Thanks for the information in this and your other thread, magnus. I do a fair amount of cooking at home and in camp, but haven't attended a DOG. I might have to change that!

Glad to be of help! Have been to a few and we really enjoyed meeting with the other cast iron chefs and their families. They're pretty laid back which makes it even better. The old pros don't go around sticking their nose into your pot and only give advice when asked for it. They're willing to continue learning too.
