Need a new idea for an New Years Appetizer
Heading off to a New Years celebration and I am looking for a new appetizer to take. Any ideas out there? Craig

Shrimp Appetizer Spread
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/2. C. sour cream
1/2 C. mayonnaise
1 to 2 Tbl. horseradish sauce -- to taste
1 lb. frozen cocktail size shrimp, thawed & coarsely chopped
1 C. seafood sauce
2 C. shredded mozzarelle cheese
1 med. green pepper, diced
1 sm. tomato, diced
3 green onions, with tops, sliced
assorted crackers
In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, mayo, sour cream, & horseradish sauce. Spread mixture on a round 12 in. serving platter. Top with sauce. Sprinkle mozzerella on top, then, the shrimp & veggies. Refrigerate.
Serve with crackers or tortilla chips.
If using frozen shrimp, I usually wrap them up in several layers of paper towels to get rid of the excess liquid.
