Has anyone replaced the crazy spring feet? I can see myself doing something different, don't like them at all and I haven't even used it yet.
One camper told me the grill can char a wooden picnic table and he uses a metal plate. In the picture above the feet rest on an aluminum plate and they are held in place with a round section of PVC glued to the plate. Time will tell if the PVC holds up.
