Newave Oven?

went to bed bath and beyond to get a nuwave oven on Friday night.
they were out of them so they ordered one and then ship it to my address with no shipping charges.

We just purchased two Sharper Image ovens like (Nu-Wave) My daughter needed to replace hers because she broke the bowl on it. She loves it because it doesn't heat up the kitchen. They make everything in it. I purchased one for us thinking I would take it in the RV for cooking. We have cooked a tri-tip partially frozen and it tasted just like we put it on the BBQ. Great. We are still playing with it and trying new recipes. I bought ours through nomoreracks.com $4. shipping. Total cost $54. They also have one called Big Boss for $10 more.

I admit that my experience early on wasn't good with baked goods and I didn't spend a lot of time trying.
We have used frozen biscuits when we're camping more often then not and a toaster oven takes care of that.

The ones that I cooked were frozen.

I'm also very interested in the baking capabilities of the newave oven since I'm a vegetarian

okay earlier I was thinking I was going to get a convection microwave but after doing some measuring a convection microwave will not fit the space I have so now I'm back and looking at the newave oven

The first one I saw in operation speaks to the versatility. Some friends of ours had one and while sitting around one afternoon, he brought it out and plugged it into his outside outlet and put a frozen pork roast in it. The smell was very distracting, yummm.

We also have 2 of them. They do a terrific job on roasts and poultry. Not so much for baked items. If you spray the grate and drip pan with PAM, they also clean up easily enough. Great deal for the money.
