Sadly, as with many posts it does not take long, before it goes off topic. The question was has anyone tried the cooker? I noticed a lot of opinions but not one person who tried it. Again please, has anyone tried it?
They sell for $149.00 at Bj's and Walmart. I would like to buy one before I leave DE, in Nov, because there is no sales tax. As far as being a glorified crockpot, the claim is: that it sautes, sears, slow cooks, and cooks faster like in a convection oven, but with steam.
I know they sell a lot of Ninja blender systems, and people swear by them. I am hoping someone has actually tried the cooker and lets us know, how they like the features, that to me are unique to the product unlike a slow cooker alone. I have the Hamilton Beach slowcooker, which is highly rated, but can not sear in it, and it also does not have the cooking fast and with steam. I also had a Westbend, slowcooker, which the pot was removable to sear on the stove, but known of these have the feature of the "cooking system".,:@
