We don't do any make ahead meals either. When we stop for the night we cook dinner. Many times it is with partially prepared foods like Hormel beef tips & gravy and I will make beef & noodles with it. Or, if stopped near a Walmart we will get a hot chicken and just fix mashed potatoes, gravy and a vegetable to go with it. Burgers are always easy - just let the meat thaw in the frig while you travel. The only thing I don't do is something that is complicated or takes a long time to cook.
