We normally cook by the seat of the pants. Sometimes we will have something left over for the first nights stop. We will often have something like a tri-tip or chicken or chicken breasts. We always keep potatoes and onions in the pantry. We also go the route of fresh chopped and bagged veggies and bagged salads from Trader Joe's to make life easier. Since most of our cooking is done on the gas grill, I am thinking of changing out my outdoor gas grill from the current Weber Q1000 to a Vector Smoke Hollow. The only reason for thinking of the change is the Vector seems to be way more adjustable and would be easier to cook a roast by turning one of the burners off. Don't really know enough about the Vector to make the $170.00 swap yet!
