Go Dogs - congrats on your new grill - we purchased one in the early 60's, if I remember correctly, only had to replace the chrome grill a couple of times due to almost weekly use over 20+ years. At one time they also make a gas version, and we still have one at the farm (converted to charcoal, as the cooking gods intended). Only retired it when we acquired a 22-inch Weber (needed more surface area and ability to smoke larger/bigger items, ie turkey and butts). The PK was given to a friend, who still has it in use at their lake cabin. If you don't already have one, get a charcoal chimney and enjoy !
