Potato Bag

Betty got a new addition to our galley at a local craft sale here in Casa Grande the other day...potato bag for the convection/microwave.

Anyone ever use one of these? Heard they work good.

Will find out over the weekend.
  • Link to their site.

    They do say this;

    Note: The Potato Baking Bag is our own, original product, and is unaffiliated with Potato Express which is advertised on TV.
  • This looks similar to the "Potato Expess" that was all over tv during the Christmas season. Our local tv station tested it several times and it didn't work any better than wrapping the potato in a paper towel.

    Why wrap them at all?

    The skin's so moisture proof that you have to poke holes in an unpeeled potato to keep it from exploding in the microwave!

    The only way it would work better is if the bag had "Seahawks" written on it....:)
  • Not sure how they work but potato come out great you put the potato in the bag and microwave them they come out more evenly cooked! probably the steam.
