Quail cooking suggestions?
Have lots of farm raised quail and looking for different ways to cook them. Would love to find a crock pot recipe.

I haven't cooked quail in a long time but used to do so often. I don't think I had a crock pot. I put flour, salt, and pepper into a paper bag and shook the quail around inside. Then browned in a cast iron frypan. Then cooked in the pressure cooker with the rocker going for about 10 minutes. Then back to the frypan,smother with gravy and cook covered until tender. These were not farm raised quail. lizzie
