Did not have any leftovers this year. Wife dumped four bags of candy into a bowl and went out front to greet the kids (keeps the dogs quiet). Twenty minutes later she comes back in with an empty bowl. She says " I started getting cold and just put handfulls into the kids bags so i could come back into the house".
