We use the canned croissants (or just plain bread) with pre-cooked Manwich meat. Add cheese or whatever and put in the fire and cook until the croissants are done and the meat is hot in the middle.
We have used them at breakfast and put white bread with an egg and some sausage pieces (pre-cooked) in the middle, covered with another piece of bread. You have to keep it level until it starts to cook.
With all of these, be sure to spray the irons before adding bread.
