I have been wracking my brain to remember some of the things we have done in the pie irons. I mentioned a few above, but another we did that was really good was to take some canned biscuits and cut them in half and flatten, spray one side and put one on the pie iron and then spoon in 1 good TBL of cream of chicken soup mixed with some frozen mixed veggies (think chicken pot pie). Cover with remaining flattened biscuit and use a fork to smash the edges together, put over the fire to bake.
We had some oozing, but it was still really good.
