Rubba dub-dub

Ribs are what's for grub. Just put my multi layers of rub on the ribs and will be putting them in the smoker around noon. I'll also be making potato salad, smoked beans and cornbread muffins with honey butter.

Preparing foil for wrap.

  • So that's why my phone started giving off a heavenly scent at church! People kept squeezing in on either side of me in the pew. The preacher stopped mid-sermon, took a long sniff and shouted Alleluia!!! When we left the church the neighborhood dogs tried to get in the car with us.

    Time to crank up the fire! ;) :c
  • I just tossed on a rack here as well... Webber chicken and rib rub, hickory with a little cherry thin blue smoke for 2 hours. Spritzing with cider vinegar, spiced rum, and apple juice every once and a while. Going to wrap them in foil with some brown sugar, butter, and a little beer for 2 hours. Then pull the foil and back on the smoke for an hour with a little Famous Daves honey chipolte sauce to firm them up...
  • MMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmm! I'm so hungry. We eat SUPPER too! DINNER is when you're putting them on the fire! LOL

    When do you put rub on? Right before you cook or earlier?
