This takes a little longer to make, but worth the time.
1 pkg unflavored gelatin
¼ cup water
Soften the gelatin in the water
¾ cup sugar
1 cup cider vinegar
¼ cup water
1 tsp salt (can be reduced or omitted)
1 tsp celery salt
½ tsp paprika
½ tsp pepper
Mix together in a saucepan and bring to a boil, remove from heat. Add the softened gelatin and stir until dissolved. Chill until partially set. Pour into a blender container add 1 cup of salad oil and blend on high until white and creamy. This makes enough dressing for about 10 cups of shredded cabbage. I also add onion, carrots and red and green pepper.
