I've had this recipe since 1977. It was in my very first "slow cooker" cookbook! I was a newlywed and I wow'd my parents with my first meal. It really is very very good for what little work is involved.
I don't know why, but so far I've not moved one of my slow cookers out to the camper yet. Maybe I better do that soon.
