I'm thinking I'll just leave it inside until I wake up and then move it outside for folks. A couple of other options I just thought of is that it MAY fit into our outside kitchen entertainment compartment (although that's pretty narrow), which would be perfect because there is a plug in there and it can just be opened in the morning by whoever... or just putting it in one of the storage bays. Again, it's protected from raccoons but accessible by people!
