Oh I definitely will try it. After looking it over I also wonder if the rice is cooked already why would you continue cooking it for another 3 or 4 hours? It would seem like the other ingredients would be mush by then. I think I would put the rice in,stir it up,and just give it a few minutes to warm up in the stew, then serve.
