Substitute For Mascarpone Cheese
Mascarpone Cheese is $5.99 for 8 oz. where I live. This is a lot less expensive and just as good.
1 (8 oz.) package of cream cheese
1/4 c. heavy whipping cream
2 1/2 T. sour cream
Combine well and use in recipes calling for Mascarpone Cheese, like the Dessert Ravioli.
Do not substitute low fat cream cheese or low fat sour cream.
