Evenly brown or slightly blackened. Catch it on fire but blow it out quick! Burnt to a crisp? Sacrilege!

My technique is constant spinning for an even, golden tan until it is just about to fall off the stick. Have you seen the new rectangle shaped ones that are designed for smores?But to answer your question in regards to marshmallow in its entirity, I'd vote for marshmallow sauce over a Sundae or in a milkshake.

Me, golden brown. Wife, charcoal (she has even used a match to 'toast a marshmallow)I've seen the flattened 'mallows. Even tried them, but can't recall how they were.

For myself I like them toasted, but my lovely wife likes them burnt.. Marshmellows are good no matter what...

I like marshmallows anyway, from straight out of the bag to golden brown... and if there is not a campfire, I put them in the oven, under the broiler! yum yum!
