Throwing my own B-Day

Been up since 6:00 a.m. prepping for a little party this evening for my B-Day.

Smoked Brisket
Salmon on the grill
Corn on the cob
Potato salad
Garlic bread
Mushrooms
Fruit salad
B-day cake and ice cream

I'll post as progress allows.















Dinner is at 5:00 PST so make your travel plans accordingly!

    Just great! Now I have drool all over my computer screen, and I can't possibly be there in time for dinner without one of those sci-fi transporter machines. BTW, which birthday? I've reached the point where I'm starting to count backwards. Have a happy one.

    Sauteed portabelo mushrooms & onions to top the sandwiches.



    Karen baked me this awesome double fudge cake with whipped frosting. I may eat dessert first.

    Meat just hit 195 and is going into the ice chest with towels to rest.



    Am I far enough into this to start drinking?

    Now if my husband cooked for me like that as I am recovering from my oopsy I probably would be gaining weight and not losing weight. Happy D Day!
