You KILLED ME AGAIN...... OMG.. that peach dish is IT!! I'm A PEACH LOVER! As much as I could LICK the screen on the Pastrami cheese burgers my Dr. kicked my fanny for my cholesterol levels last January, and I've brought them down considerably. I can look, and drool.. but I can't touch that...lol
I like to do prep-work and Ziploc it before I leave home. Pretty standard for us - I clean and rip a bunch of lettuce and tuck a damp paper towel in the bag, slice tomatoes, always have baby carrots, fresh fruit, guacamole too. I cook up a couple #'s of turkey bacon (freeze it), cook up taco meat (freeze), sour cream, salsa, tortilla chips and whole wheat tortillas. Dave's Killer bread is in the freezer. I can make sandwiches a number of ways without being stuck in the kitchen for a long time. I can make tacos, burritos, taco salads, a tossed green salad to go with BBQ'd steak. I make those 3.2.1 mug cakes for dessert. Always have a can of FF Whipped Cream in the fridge to top off anything...LOL. My favorite kitchen gadget is a little stainless steel smoker we haul along. Love to make smoked wings in that while we relax outside. It draws people in like crazy...lol I really like to cook.. so we have fun, but I like to cook smart, and not be swamped cooking all day.
