- magnusfideExplorer IIThanks guys. Looks like I'll be doing some experimenting this weekend :c
- ksg5000ExplorerI make one similar to The Bear. I make the dough at home and freeze the dough balls - I take it out of the RV freezer the day I want to make pizza and let it thaw out/rise in unheated RV oven (protects it from my dog).
- HalmfamilyExplorer1 cup flour
1 tsp yeast
1 tsp sugar
1/2 cup or so of as water.
We let the dough rest is a covered bowl for an hour so. Bake at 500° - the_bear_IIExplorer1 tsp dry yeast
1/2 tsp sugar or honey
1 cup of warm water
mix together and let sit until bubles form at the top of the mixture
in a mixer with dough hooks or food processor
1 tbsp olive oil
2 & 3/4 cups of all purpose flour
add the yeast mixture as the mixer/processor spins on slow
increase the speed to medium
a ball will form
remove the ball and place in bowl lightly coated with olive oil
cover with towel and let sit in warm spot for 20 minutes
pinch off one fourth and form on parchment paper into disc using flour coated rolling pin or flat hand
Add sauce and toppings cook on the BBQ grill or pizza oven 7 to 10 minutes on high heat
Remove once crust is golden brown and enjoy - dmck413Explorerget the pizza yeast and follow recipe. Cast iron pans do it best.
