You can run your crock pot in your trailer while out touring the park. We don't necessarily hear that the Fishing Bridge RV Park has problems with bears trying to break into trailers and RVs. However because of the bear density in the general area there is the hard-sided requirement.
I would guess that if there has been a bear paying a regular visit to the RV Park then you will be advised of it when you check it. So if you hear of a problem around there at the time maybe reconsider. But I wouldn't worry about it unless you hear of some specific issue going on there at the time.
