- Back in the day we stayed in a park outside of Arcadia for a week as we were ahead of schedule for another part in Punta Gourda. I can't recall the park but I can say that it turned out to be "owned" by French Canadians they controlled the whole place and spoke only French and pretended to not understand English. They even put towels on all the chairs at the pool even though they weren't using it. Beware as to where you try to stay.
- I have stayed at The Big Tree park there & it was OK...I was just there one night and they put me in the overflow lot which all dirt & not a good spot. I did see many full time sites.
