You might look into Delaware Seashore State Park. I have never stayed at this campground in Delaware but have been by it and they are adding to the campground. It is within walking distance of the ocean and opens on April 1 with full service. I will mention that April in the mid-Atlantic can still be quite cool.

I have to agree on DE seashore park is a good choice. It may still be a bit chilly however coming from Maine DE may seem like Miami Beach!:B
