We camp at a seasonal location, not too far from civilization, and since I spend lots of alone time in my camper, it's not a question that I need to have some kind of service. During the 2013 season, I had ZERO service. This past summer, I could at least make phone calls. Sort of. My fellow campers with Verizon, not even a hiccup in coverage. What gives???
Depending on which T-Mobile "expert" you talk to, you'll get a different answer, everything from needing to upgrade the device (phone was brand new and top of the line), the tower was being repaired to my phone settings are screwed up. None of which helped other than to make my blood boil.
We've been with T-Mobile for 12 years and I have been counting down the hours until we can jump ship to Verizon, which is actually the lesser of the evils as my bill will increase exponentially. After verbally abusing several Verizon reps, I've determined that I need to just bite the bullet and open my wallet.
So Verizon it is. Now if I could just swallow the idea of shelling out another chunk of change on new phones. Ugh. I'm screwed either way.
