Family - - - too little, too late

We would really enjoy sharing our love for camping with friends and family, but we live in an age when everyone is too busy. We can't get any friends to commit. We're leaving Friday for a trip and our boys invited a friend to come. Haven't heard back from him in a week. So, we enjoy it with our own children and when they're gone, we'll enjoy it together.

I do always envy those campsites that are loaded with extended family though. But we're the oddballs in our circle for seeking out doing "nothing".
