Foster Children Update

Earlier I posted about our son and his wife having 4 foster children and the trials they have experienced trying to adopt these children. After nearly 5 years, yesterday the court system finalized the adoption of these 4 children into our family. Hopefully, there will be many more happy camping days in the future. Praise the Lord for His goodness to our family and especially these 4 children.

  • Ray, congratulations and the best of luck to your son and family. I know folks who have adopted, and the process is not very easy. And, congratulations to you too, grandpa!
  • Congratulations!! We adopted our two daughters who came to us as short term foster kids. One is 6 the other 16. Both drug affected. God has blessed us big time. They are such a joy and a great adition to our family
  • Congratulations to you and your family! What an awesome family you are for doing this! Good luck and enjoy!
  • Thanks to all of you. We still have a long road to travel because of the baggage each of these children were born with, but with God's help, we know we will be successful.

  • It is super great to hear that those 4 kids now have a forever home! There is something about camping that really seems to click with foster kids. All of the kids we have had have all enjoyed camping. Our three current placements have been begging to go camping again. We are trying to talk the other foster parents in our support group to come along.
