The DW and I moved to Tennessee and moved into a house, renting it before the sale to us closed. The sale didn't work out and we spent six months living in a campground on the Tennessee River. It was a lifesaver, as staying in a hotel would have financially broken us. We were comfortable, the campground was clean and the staff there would not tolerate a mess being made or driving fast through the campground. I took my riding lawnmower out of storage and used it to haul the black water tank to the dump site while we were there, and would keep our site mowed and cleaned up. Just because a person is a long term resident doesn't mean they are "trailer trash".
