Has anyone RV camped at Watkins Glen racetrack?
Watching the Nascar Race Sunday and the Racetrack had 4000 campsites. Looked pretty cool from the infield camping spots.

- First camped there in about 1969. Back then it was tents and rental box trucks. They provided portable johns. We could walk the entire circuits and get different views during the race. Back then it was CanAm and Grand Prix. Graham Hill, Jackie Stewart, Emerson Fitapaldie, Mark Donahue, Group 44 etc. Lots of fun.
- We have camped on the infield multiple times. It can be fun to be in the mix of the various events. However it can be HOT. Check the Glen for events and infield camping.
