Headed to North Georgia this week

Although we have parked our camper permanently at a campground there, we will not be using it this time. Our camper is small; it only accommodates 2 people. We are going to take our 3 adult kids up there for a few days, so we got a cabin this time. If it were just the older two we'd put them in a tent. But our youngest (19yo) is severely mentally handicapped, so he has to be with us. At 6'2", he's a lotta boy. He needs a full bed all to himself!

This has been a rough summer. DH was in critical condition in June and ended up having open heart surgery. Just this week his surgeon pronounced his heart "perfect" and to come back in 15 YEARS. Yippee!
It will be so nice to take a few days to just hang out and relax with our lovely kids. The older two have already planned things to do with their brother. He need constant supervision so I really appreciate their willingness to pitch in and take over with him.

Wish us nice weather!

Have a great time! I like to camp in the Helen, Ga area. We like to stay at the Chattahoochee NF CG by Horse Trough Falls, visit Helen during Octoberfest and do a little gem and gold mining in the area. A few years ago my DW found this there:

Cool! Maybe we can get over to Helen while we're there.
