Hinsdale Campground

Unfortunately, we had to come back to the Hinsdale Campground in
Hinsdale, N.H, because every other campground in the area was booked up.
We stayed here a couple years ago and the site we had, had not been graded and the sewer had to run up hill to the connection(which doesn't work well), and after a thunderstorm, we had 5 inches of water in front of our door, and everything under our canopy was soaked before we realized the tide was coming in.
This time, we were placed in a lot in back, close to the tent sights, and this lot is very small, the picnic table is less than ten feet from where the neighboring lot connects their sewer and water, and rough. You have to park in the tire tracks of previous campers, and the lot is slanted so much I had to extend my jacks on one side to capacity in order to get it near level.
The grass has not been mowed (the weeds, because there is not much grass) and in a state where ticks are known to be, this is not good. The lot is rough, with big holes under the picnic table, and it is obvious that maintenance is lacking.
I am truly surprise that this is a Good Sam Park, because it in no way meets the standards of other Good Sam parks we have stayed in.
