We liked the Jellystone at Mammoth Cave. Pool, waterslide, jumping pillows, fishing pond. Kids had fun.
I often look for Jellystone when travelling out of state. I have found them to be a pretty safe place and not at all similar to a trailer park. You might pay a bit more for the site, but I feel it's all a trade off.
