Labor Day Review

Wow, what a great Labor Day camping weekend. We had it all, great weather, wonderful campground as well as family! All our kids came Saturday for a cookout and left the grand kids to spend the night. Bright and early at 9:00 am we were in the pool :). Little ones had a ball. Yes, Gma and Gpa were tired on Sunday but remembered a great family gathering. I'm sure the little ones will remember these camping trips fondly. Now I'm looking forward to Halloween Weekend at our favorite campground. That's always lots of fun and our family will come again. Yeah! How was your weekend?

    We went out camping in Scottsburg,IN at Yogi Bear Jellystone Park. The weather was not so great 95 degrees the lake at the CG looked like a scum monster waiting to jump up at any time. CG had a pool which was good the shower and bathrooms were dated back to the 60's and not much hot water. Day tripped to Nashville, IN in Brown County and loved it there. And another day trip to Cliffy Falls State Park. With so much dry weather lately the falls were a trickle of water over the rocks. Fished my 5 year old grandson and that's always an adventure but a good time .. 3 days just isn't enough time to rest and do all you want to do

    We spent four nights at Disney (FW) with a group of friends and had a great time.
