In the campsite next to us is a young family with a small child. I do believe that from the time the child wakes up in the morning till the family leaves for their daily sightseeing/outing, he cries....

What about the parents? Don't they have any common sense to think that maybe their non-stop crying child is an annoyance to everyone around them? They have a responsibility and obligation in this too. Should the rest of the campground cater to the crying baby?
Same happens in public places. I think it is a punishment. As a parent, "if I have to suffer, then everyone else has to too". Been there, seen it, and most of all had to tolerate it because the "responsible" parents had no common sense.
