Unbelievable!!!! The number of people that think that an incessantly crying child is OK. It is not OK. The fact that it is a child does not mitigate the fact that it's crying is disturbing others. I really don't care what the reason is, if it is health related, the parents need to go home. If it is behavior related, the parents need to go home. Disturbing others for long periods of time is not an acceptable behavior. I don't believe the OP is talking about a couple of minutes of crying a couple of times a day. Prolonged disturbing of others, to the point it makes those people's stay miserable should not be tolerated. The park should issue a warning, then issue an ultimatum and then make the hard decision and send the people away.
Ultra unbelievable!!! You and the OP should exchange info and camp together. I am still struggling with the fact that a full timer is whining about their neighbors. Get used to it full timers, you will continue to have various reasons to whine when you camp publicly!! There are multiple retirement campgrounds all over the USA. Use them!
Nice to know that whatever your neighbors do is OK with you. That isn't the case with most people. They don't want their vacation to be 7 days of loud, drunken parties, or 7 days of barking dogs, and yes, they don't want 7 days of screaming and crying children. None of those are tolerated at my parks, even if they are tolerated by you.
