- PeteK-HouExplorer+1 For Jellystone. We bring the grandkids there. Very family freindy, have a great pool/splashpad and they do have one of the tubing companies that come in and transport you should you want to go tubing.

We are going for my sons 16th birthday and he is bringing 2 friends so not little kids but dont want to go to a place that is full of boozers so the boys think they can get away with something.
If you are not 'set' on Canyon Lake I would suggest Inks Lake State Park instead. The Rangers are on top of any 'boozing' getting out of hand. My son is 17 & this is his favorite park. Matter of fact, if you search my posts in this forum I just took him & 2 different sets of friends this summer for 3 days each.
There is a big cliff to jump off of (Devils waterhole). Nighttime fishing off the piers. Kayak/canoe rentals. Hiking trails. Plenty of places to bike. They all loved it and the friends want to know when can they come again. - TXcampingfamilyExplorerCheck at the campgrounds some have tubing companies that will pick up and drop off at the campgrounds.

- TXcampingfamilyExplorerIf there are kids in your group you might look into Jellystone. We have been there many times and have enjoyed it!
- southerngirl76ExplorerPotter's Creek on Canyon Lake. I have stayed at Rio Raft before but I tent camped. It was ok. Convenient because they have a store and river shuttle on site. However if I were to go again it would be Potter's Creek. Both are good choices.
