It depends on how you were raised. I make my kids do a "police call" and pick up the trash around our site before we leave after a weekend trip. I like to leave my site cleaner that what I found it.

I totally disagree with stereotyping 3-day weekenders. Some of us have or had jobs which only allowed us to get away on holiday week-ends and we never considered trashing our site or any part of the campgrounds. :R

I believe the problem is part of the generation(s) gap. Not enough people taking personal responsibility and accountability. Now those kids are having kids and the matter is only growing worse. :E

We also only have an opportunity to camp during the weekends for the most part too. But we prefer not to camp during the 3-day holiday weekends because is it at those times we encounter most of the rude behavior witch includes littering.
