Worst case of disrespect I've every seen in a campground!

Currently camped at General Butler State Park in Kentucky. Staying till Monday. The week-enders pulled all pulled out and were gone by 1:00 pm ish. We are on campsite 69. Campsite 70 is beside us....

I hope they do pursue charges since the poster said that it is permanent and could not be removed. We do allow our grandchildren to use sidewalk chalk only on the cement or blacktop. Are there reasons we should stop doing this?
