X2. I leave a site as nice or nicer than when I arrived. While you enjoy your grandchildren's art. Others may find it annoying or even offensive.
You don't leave beverage cans, paper plates and other trash at the site when you leave, do you?
I can't think of a time the kids didn't remove it before we left, I probably should have mentioned it. I don't know why you would ask if we leave beverage cans, paper plates or other trash when I asked an honest question about removable chalk? Of course we do not! I don't get into the truck until after he pulls out and I have double checked the campsite for anything we have forgotten. There is no trash outside ever. When we have a soda, I put the can in the camper.
