1000% agree. Your neighbors with children and pets will be extremely angry. Bears kill pets, children, cause property damage if any food is located within it. There's a reason wildlife experts repeatedly warn against feeding bears; they can rip locked car doors off to get to a bag chips.
If you want to see bears a zoo will provide ample opportunity.
